Hi everyone,

On March 15th, the CDC recommended that gatherings of 50 people or more should not take place for the next 8 weeks. The 5K is 7 weeks away.

For this reason, the race has been cancelled.

As you may be aware this was to be the last year of the 5K, instead we will look forward to the 19th running on the 20th anniversary of the race on Saturday, May 8th, 2021.

I am so sorry to give you this bad news. These are difficult times and we are all trying to make the most responsible choices with regards to public health.

I have always said that 90% of the benefits I get from running are above the neck. Never has that been more true than it is now. So I hope to see you out on the road staying healthy.

Run safe, run smart, run strong,
